This is Platt’s Responsive Web Design (WR 300) course and I am happy to be teaching you the concepts of this exciting new way of designing for the web.
We’ll be learning the modern approach to Web Design: Fluid Containers, Flexible Media and Changing Layouts according to breakpoints.
Responsive Web Design is an approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience, easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices. In order to do this while remaining “device agnostic“, we utilize media queries, flexible media and changing layouts in order to fill the space available to us to provide consistent content delivery. This is what I hope to teach you in this course.
Please download the RWD 300 Syllabus Nov 2015 for an overall breakdown of the class grades assignments, etc.
