Khan Academy promotes an hour of code every year. This is to promote computer science and encourage people to do code. There’s a couple of great tutorials out there. One on drawing with code using the canvas element and JavaScript, one to create websites and another to work with Databases. It’s a great thing to do! Check it out! Hour of Code
