Responsive Web Site
This project will consist of creating a responsive website that will provide a great experience across devices and browsers.
Choosing your project:
Design and implement a 3-page website to promote something of your choice. (ex: event, app, product) Do not go crazy and no portfolio or e-commerce websites.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three pages
- A landing/home page or “pitch page” to entice people to sign up or download
- A working Contact form
- A gallery of responsive images
- One responsive video
- Media must scale appropriately and be optimized for file size
- Must have relatively scaled text
- All real content. No Lorem Ipsum or dummy images
- Use progressive enhancements so the site is functional in:
- Internet Explorer 9+
- Firefox 21+
- Chrome 27+
- Safari 6+
- Android Native Browser
- iOS Safari
- All class devices
Final Project Grade Criteria:
Artistic Control:
Was the design executed according to submitted plans? Is the design effective for its purpose?
Error Free:
Does it pass HTML & CSS validation? Does the javascript work? Are there any bad links?
Minimum Project Specifications:
Does the project meet all the specifications? Are you able to navigate without JS? Does it work well in all class devices?
Delivery:
Are all the files delivered? Are they organized?
Additional Features:
Do something cool and extra — get additional points to buff up your grade.
